Ingredients:
1 large sweet onion (or 2-3 small cooking onions)
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp olive oil
Chicken or Vegetable stock (as needed)
salt and pepper to taste
Slice onions thinly. Heat oil in a pan and add onions, cook for a few minutes and add balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper.
As liquid disappears continue to add chicken or vegetable stock as needed. Cook until onions become soft and golden in colour.
Add to any burger, pizza, omelette, eggs Benny, or steak!!
